How do I care for my Taylor & Tails dog bed?
As a general guide we suggest washing the cover of your dog bed every one to two weeks.
All our covers can be machine washed on a gentle cycle at 30℃. Do not tumble dry.
Machine washing is not always necessary. See below for how you can easily clean your product.
HOW TO CLEAN VEGAN LEATHER
When choosing a cleaning product for vegan leather, ask yourself “would I put it on my own skin”? Harsh detergents cause drying and will shorten the life cycle of your product. Instead, we recommend using warm water with mild soap and a non-abrasive cloth. Wring the cloth out so that it’s not dripping wet and give the surface a regular once over to keep on top of marks that build up with use. Follow by drying with a microfiber cloth.

MAINTAIN VEGAN LEATHER
To extend the life of your dog bed, we strongly recommend protecting the vegan leather with a non-toxic, silicone-free, faux leather conditionerat leastevery 6 months. This prevents the degradation of the leather and keeps it from drying out or peeling.
HOW TO CLEAN WOVEN FABRIC
Thanks to our easy-clean technology, small marks on the upholstery don’t need machine washing, instead, simply spot clean.
1. Remove excess mud, dirt or food residue.
2. Add water to the stain.
3. Using soap, lightly rub the mark in circular motions.
4. Add a little more water to help lift the soap from the fabric.
5. Blot with a paper towel until it comes away dry. Repeat if necessary.
